The base Ford Focus weighs in at about 2550lbs. I have removed the rear seats(60lbs) all plastic pieces in the hatch area as well as sound deadner(20lbs) and the jack/spear(45lbs) for a total weight savings of 125lbs.
For each 100lbs lost it is the equivelant of 10HP or 1/10 in the 1/4 mile. Of course being equivelant doesnt mean you will ever see any of this power on the dyno because you wont ;-)
