My goals for this project Ford Focus are quite simple. Why did I chose to go with a econo car rather than go with something meant for modifying like a Honda, Mitsubishi, or Acura? Simple I like to be differnt and we all know how common hondas are today in the wrench tuner world. I have had many people tell me straight to my face that the Ford Focus will never be fast. They changed there views really quick once they saw the ever growing aftermarket support for this car and what kind of times focus tuners were running in the 1/4 mile. My ultimate goal is to have a nice 170 wheel horsepower Naturally Aspirated and 150ft/lbs TQ to the wheels. With light weight reduction and that much power behind it this car will easily be as fast as a 200HP + car. I want to work on this car with the help of friends as well as on my own. I refuse to accept any sponsorship offers as I have had quite a few for the reason that I want this car to be MINE and not my sponsors. The Ford Focus will soon be the car that everybody wants to tune.

Back in December of 1999 I saw my first Ford Focus at the local Ford Dealer and once I drove it I knew this was the car I wanted. The torque was amazing and gave the car lots of pep. The following year of August 2000 I had bought my first limited addition "dirt brown" Kona Focus. The is the special addition seen on tv that came with a bike rack and Kona Mountain Bike. The following year of August 2001 I had an accident on a freeway on ramp and totaled my focus. After everything was said and done I ended up with my new limited edition S2 Liquid Grey Focus. Little did I know I would have come this far in a little over years time span with the new project focus. If you click on the links to the left of the website I will go into great detail about modifications, parts, links, prices, and many things one should know about the Ford Focus before they begin there project.
